Year 2 are learning about something that most of us are familiar with - chocolate!
They are learning about the impact that chocolate has had on many people’s lives for hundreds of years. They are working as geographers in order to find out where and how chocolate is grown and processed, as historians as they find out how chocolate made its way across the world, and as scientists and designers as they create their own chocolate bars!
They look at moral aspects of chocolate, does it have a positive or negative impact on the lives of many people today?
Year 2 visited Trondheim Sjokolade where they got to design and make their own chocolate!
