Ms DiCamillo organised an exciting Pi Day Challenge on our school playground on Friday.
Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 because the date, written as 3.14, represents the first three digits of the mathematical constant pi (π). Pi mathematical constant, approximately equal to 3.14159, that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter and is a fundamental concept in mathematics and geometry.
